Happy 4th Birthday to Noah! He had a great party at the fire station!!!

I know we haven’t posted much lately – real life and all. Pictures and posts coming this weekend.

Noah’s full of funny things:

- He wants to call the baby Hinga (yet another in his long line of Swedish sounding names)
- While singing “Take me out to the ball game” in the car with my parents last weekend, he ended it with “Everybody Sing!!!!” and started another round
- Noah loves to talk to the baby and say “Hello baby…… this is mommy!!! HAHAHAHA!”
- Noah wanted the baby to be a sister. When told it wasn’t going to be a sister, he said “Well, maybe we can just give it a girl’s name”
- He loves Dan Zanes (often seen on Playhouse Disney). He just doesn’t quite have his lyrics down yet:

So, we told Noah today that he is getting a big brother. Some highlights:

Us: “The baby is going to grow in mommy’s belly, and when it’s ready it will come out!”
Noah: “Nuh uh, babies come from puppyville!” (blue’s clue’s reference)

Us: “If you feel mommy’s baby, you might feel the baby kick.”
Noah, later: “Let’s kick the baby!”

Us: “Noah, where’s the baby?”
Noah: “At the hospital”

Noah: “Is it time for the baby to come out yet?”

The New Baby Blog

We took a trip to the Franklin Institute in Philly to see the King Tut exhibit:

For those of you who don’t know, that’s Rachel Coleman from Signing Time fame. She walked with us (and a small group of Signing Time fans) at the Northern VA Buddy Walk for Down Syndrome. She also performed – I should post some of that video soon, as soon as it’s cut down. Noah was in HEAVEN. He held Rachel’s hand for the whole quarter mile walk. More details a little later on, but just wanted to get this placeholder done.

Noah has once again won a Signing Time Contest! This summer’s contest was to take a colored in picture of Hopkins (the ST mascot) with you on vacation, and take a picture with it. Here was his winning entry:
