BBB update 2
Well, Noah didn’t sleep during his nap – which is nothing out of the ordinary – but he did stay in his big boy bed the whole time. He went down fairly easy tonite and has been ok so far. Things are looking good!

BBB night one a great success
Well, except for getting up briefly at 4:45 (he went back to bed after Emily got him some water), the first night in the BBB went well. He actually stayed in it when he woke up this morning. So, the first night was a success, and we’ll keep you posted.

wish us luck
Night 1 of the big boy bed (BBB) transition is upon us. More details as they become available.
I know there has been a lack of updates, but I plan on doing some real soon now, including some pics and details from our recent Sesame Place visit, and our trip to the Animal Planet Expo today.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Noah!
Today, our little boy turns 2. Noah, here are some interesting facts about you and the world around you on your special day (this will be a work in progress throughout the day):
- You share your birthday with the Queen Elizabeth of England (she’s 80 today)
- You can identify every letter except 3 (J, U and one more I can’t remember)
- You can sing your alphabet, and you throw in a few more P’s for the heck of it
- You can count into your teens, occasionally skipping a few numbers in between
- You can recognize every number except 6, 9 and 3 (you mix up 6 and 9, and you think 3 is an E)
- You can probably sign about 150 words
- The price of a gallon of milk is: $3.29
- The price of a gallon of gasoline (what’s used to fuel cars) is: $3.00
- 10 years ago the big portable medium for computers was a big, thick zip disk, maxing out at 100 MB (maybe 250 MB by then). Now you can get almost 10 times that much memory in the size of a pack of chewing gum

potty time!
Well, this week Noah is becoming a pro at using the potty. I think he’s done both in the potty at least once each day this week!!! Go little man!

cue the 2-year molars
Noah started cutting his bottom right 2-year molar on Feb 6 (well, we noticed that night at least). He had actually been sleeping through the night pretty consistantly since Christmas (great Hannumas present!) – and all of a sudden he starts waking up at 11 PM! After realizing that his calls of “hurt” weren’t just distractions to keep from going to bed, I gave him some Oragel, to find a new tooth. The other bottom one sprang a few days later. So, for several weeks we had crappy sleep. Plus he’s now no longer quick to go to bed, instead loving to throw everything out of his crib and then cry.
*sigh* Well at least the month or so of sleeping through the night was nice. Maybe he’ll get into a rhythm, at least until the other 2 break through.
